LAGERS Board of Trustees Election Process

The Candidate Declaration period is now open for individuals interested in running for a seat on the LAGERS Board of Trustees. Two Employer Trustee seats will be elected to fill partial terms at the LAGERS Annual Meeting on October 27, 2023 at the Sheraton Chalet Hotel in Maryland Heights, MO.

Seats Open for Election in 2023

  • Employer Trustee – Partial term ending 12/31/25
  • Employer Trustee – Partial term ending 12/31/26

Nomination Process for Trustee Candidates:

  1. Submit a Candidate Declaration form to LAGERS. By submitting a declaration form, you are indicating your interest in serving on the LAGERS Board. The form will be used to verify candidate eligibility and develop candidate profiles which will be shared with voting delegates prior to the Annual Meeting. Declaration forms must be submitted by September 22, 2023, in order to be included in Annual Meeting print publications.
  2. Receive a formal nomination from the floor during LAGERS’ Annual Business Meeting. In accordance with LAGERS’ 2023 election rules, trustee candidates must still receive a nomination from the floor to be officially placed on the ballot.
  3. Voting for each seat will take place in person at the LAGERS Annual meeting. Members must be registered by their employer as a voting delegates in order to participate in the elections. Because only Employer Trustee seats are up for election this year, only Employer Delegates will be able to participate in this year’s election.
