Pre-Retirement Seminars are designed for LAGERS members who are within 5 years of retirement. These free seminars provide a full explanation of your benefit, payment options, retirement process, and more.
Webinars are a way for you to become more knowledgeable about your LAGERS benefit without having to leave the comfort of your office. The topics discussed are wide-ranging to include all groups of LAGERS members.
Retiree Link Meetings are one way LAGERS keeps in touch with retirees. The meetings provide you with the opportunity to reconnect with your peers and LAGERS staff, hear a system update, and listen to other retiree-focused presentations.
Currently, there are two kinds of employer meetings: Employer Rate Meetings and HResource Meetings. Employer Rate Meetings offer insight to how employer contribution rates are calculated and the inner financial workings of LAGERS and GASB. The HResource Meetings offers a way to expand knowledge of the basics of LAGERS benefits, changing benefits, tools available, and communication tactics for the proper way of relaying LAGERS information.
The LAGERS Annual Meeting is where LAGERS’ Board of Trustees are elected. As well, this meeting is a great opportunity for you to receive further education about LAGERS inner workings, network with LAGERS’ Board and Staff and connect with your peers from across the state.

This is an online Virtual Pre-Retirement Seminar. In this Virtual Pre-Retirement Seminar, we will cover topics such as how your benefit is calculated, the retirement application process, payment options, taxes, COLAs, and other after retirement topics. This Seminar is open to all LAGERS members wanting to know more about the retirement process.
