All scheduled LAGERS events at a glance.

Pre-Retirement Seminars are designed for LAGERS members within 5 years of retirement. These free seminars provide a full explanation of your benefits, payment options, retirement process, and more.

LAGERS online events (webinars) are a way to become more knowledgeable about LAGERS benefits without leaving the comfort of your workplace. A wide range of topics are presented to meet the needs LAGERS members, retirees, and employers.

The LEARN conference is a one-day in-person event held to provide training and workshops for LAGERS participating employers. Topics will include a LAGERS benefits overview, financial management overview, system updates and much more. In addition, the majority of the sessions at the LEARN conference will count towards education credit for the Certified LAGERS Administrator.

The LAGERS Annual Meeting is an annual gathering of LAGERS members and employers to elect the LAGERS Board of Trustees. This meeting is also a great opportunity for you to receive further education about LAGERS’ inner workings, network with LAGERS’ Board and Staff, and connect with your peers from across the state.

LAGERS Pre-Retirement Webinar

In this Pre-Retirement Webinar, we will cover topics such as how your benefit is calculated, the retirement application process, payment options, taxes, COLAs, and other after-retirement topics. This webinar is open to all LAGERS members wanting to know more about the retirement process. Please fully complete the registration so that we are able to generate your benefit estimate. A Pre-Retirement Webinar packet including your benefit estimate will be emailed to you before the event. LAGERS Annual Meeting

The primary purpose of the LAGERS Annual Meeting is the election of LAGERS’ Board of Trustees.  As an active member or governing body member, this is your opportunity to have your voice heard by participating in LAGERS Board of Trustee elections. Voting delegates have the opportunity to hear about the role of the LAGERS board, meet and get to know those who are seeking nominations and election to the LAGERS board and submit your vote for a nominee.
