Each month, LAGERS employers submit their wage report and required payments through ECLIPSE, LAGERS’ employer web portal. Wage reports and payments are due by the twelfth of each month.
But did you know there’s another important date that could affect your wage report?
Cutoff, sometimes referred to as “close of month,” is the day LAGERS closes the current wage report and prepares ECLIPSE for the next one. Cutoff dates are set a year in advance and cannot be changed.
On the cutoff date, ECLIPSE goes offline for scheduled maintenance. During this time, LAGERS’ IT department closes and processes the current month’s wage report while building and preparing your new wage report for the upcoming month.
Why Does Cutoff Matter?
Your wage report is always due by the twelfth of each month, giving you time to submit your report before cutoff. Submitting your report before cutoff also gives your specialist time to review any employee accounts that have been flagged and address potential issues before the report is closed.
Cutoff typically occurs approximately three days before the end of the month. The remaining cutoff dates for 2026 are:
- Aug. 26
- Sept. 28
- Oct. 28
- Nov. 25
- Dec. 29
How to Keep Your Reports on Track
- Submit your wage report and payment by the twelfth of each month. Don’t wait until the last minute. Submitting early gives you and your specialist time to address any issues before cutoff.
- Address any flagged accounts before cutoff. If your employer services specialist contacts you regarding a flagged or in-review account, please respond as soon as possible. This will allow your specialist to correct the account and process the wage report before cutoff.
- Watch for your new wage report. After cutoff is complete, you will receive an automated email from your employer service specialist letting you know the new wage report is available in ECLIPSE.
