As a participating employer in Missouri LAGERS, you play a vital role in helping your employees build secure retirements. Your organization’s decision to provide a defined benefit plan doesn’t just support your workforce in retirement; it also helps you attract and retain high-quality public servants who are invested in the communities they serve.
Each year, the LAGERS Annual Meeting offers employers a unique opportunity to be directly involved in the governance of the system. This year’s event will be held Oct. 30–31 in Springfield, Mo.
LAGERS is governed by a seven-member Board of Trustees that oversees system operations, investments, and long-term strategy. Each employer may send up to two voting delegates, one active employee and one governing body member, to vote in the board election. These delegates represent your organization’s voice in shaping the future of the system.
At the Annual Meeting:
- Cast your vote in the Board of Trustees election
- Learn about LAGERS’ funding, benefit structure, system updates, and more
- Understand how the system’s decisions impact your local government
- Connect with peers and LAGERS leadership to share insights and experiences
