Governor Mike Kehoe has announced the reappointment of Claire West to the Missouri Local Government Employees Retirement System (LAGERS) Board of Trustees as the citizen trustee. West has served in this role since 2016 and will continue her service through December 31, 2028, or until a successor is appointed.
The citizen trustee is the only appointed member of LAGERS’ seven-member board and must not be a member of the retirement system. The remaining six trustees include three employer trustees, who represent participating employers but are not members of the system, and three member trustees, who are active members. Member and employer trustees are elected by the active membership during the LAGERS Annual Meeting.
