Missouri LAGERS Announces Trustee Election Results from 58th Annual Meeting

Jefferson City, Mo. — The Missouri Local Government Employees Retirement System (LAGERS) announced the results of its 2025 Board of Trustee elections during the system’s 58th annual meeting on Oct. 31, 2025.

Chad Munsey, employer trustee from the city of Springfield, was re-elected to continue serving on the board. Erich Weimer, assistant chief of police for the city of Webster Groves, was elected to his first term as a member trustee. Both will serve terms ending Dec. 31, 2029.

The LAGERS Board of Trustees provides oversight and strategic direction for the retirement system. The board is composed of seven members: three elected by LAGERS’ member employees, three elected by participating employers, and one appointed by the governor. Together, the trustees are responsible for ensuring the system remains actuarially sound, financially stable, and effectively managed for the benefit of more than 70,000 active and retired Missouri local government workers.

The 2025 trustee election followed an open nomination period from July 14 through Sept. 4. Eligible member and employer delegates from participating employers cast their votes during the annual meeting.
