Jefferson City, Mo. – The Missouri Local Government Employees Retirement System (LAGERS) proudly congratulates Richard Sheets, Executive Director of the Missouri Municipal League (MML), on his retirement after more than 40 years of dedicated service to Missouri’s cities and towns.

Throughout his distinguished career, Sheets has been a trusted and knowledgeable voice in local government, guiding leaders with wisdom, experience, and an unwavering commitment to strengthening communities across the state. His leadership has helped shape public policy in Missouri while championing efforts that directly improve the services municipal employees deliver to their communities.
