The nomination period for LAGERS’ Local Government Hero Award is now open!
Each year at the Annual Meeting, Missouri LAGERS honors a local government worker who has gone above and beyond their call of duty to create a lasting, positive impact on their community.
Winners are selected using the following criteria:
- Demonstrates a consistent willingness to exceed the daily duties of a public servant throughout their career.
- Creates a positive and measurable impact on their local community.
- Makes a meaningful difference in the lives of colleagues, their employer, and the public service profession.
- Brings distinction to themselves, their employer, or the community they serve through their actions or accomplishments.

Nominations open April 1 and close April 30 at 11:30 p.m.
